At the end of 2016, Yazan left the dealership and began preparing for his career as a lawyer. He quickly realized he had a passion for family law, and earned a skill set that lends itself to finding solutions in highly contested divorce and child custody disputes. He applied this passion and skills by volunteering as a CASA advocate, where he assisted children in foster care. Quickly he earned a reputation within the organization and courtroom as someone who could help find solutions among even the most adversarial parties. Yazan has been recognized multiple times by Capital Area CASA for his work and has been published in the Baton Rouge Advocate as a result.

Prior to graduating, Yazan spent 2018 working as a law clerk within Southeast Louisiana Legal Services’ Family Law Unit. This opportunity allowed him to gain amazing experience, as Yazan worked on a large number of cases involving divorce, child custody, and domestic violence. This gave Yazan both the knowledge and experience to practice family law after passing the Louisiana Bar Exam.

In May of 2019, with the help of his family, friends, and community, Yazan applied all of his experiences and founded the Louisiana Family Law Firm. Now Yazan and The Louisiana Family Law Firm are dedicated to guiding clients towards positive and fulfilling futures.
